so glad i'm not alone - is there a sadder moment on ST than kirk slumping against that panel?

i almost killed off victoria, but that was beyond even my limits (not to mention needing 20,000 words to do it). i've figured out a way to do it though - my first epic may take me months to type, but she's going down!
