that scene is heartbreaking, no matter how often i see it. even knowing it was coming the first time i saw the movie wasn't enough to dull the moment.

i can't write death fics myself, unless the character has actually died on the show. it's really important to me to stick to canon. and i usually don't read them, because if they're well done they're just too sad...
