I'm a bit cotton-headed and non-verbal with cold (and that means a spot of unreality resonates very nicely up there, so this was spot on target for me today) but I'd like to say that I liked this very well, especially, as someone else said, the evidence Fraser finds - how like a cop, looking at the fingerprints and smudges and telltale smushings - on his heart of Ray's presence, and the heart already beside his own in his chest (one devoutly hopes that Ray has been reciprocally gifted, else his lungs might be getting very lonely right about now...)

and, um, perhaps non-verbal is not exactly the word. But in my rambly way I wanted to say, I liked your story!
