I tell you, almost nothing makes me happier than hearing from the true-blue Vecchio lovers that I managed to do the guy justice. As I said to Wynterhawk above, it's taken me some time to feel like I really have a grip on Vecchio, but my god, what a fascinating character, and I truly love thinking about how taking on Armando's life would affect him; I really want to write more of this, at some point.
