I noticed that repitition too, as I was writing it! I think it's just this desire I have to see someone take care of RayK. It's not that I don't think he can take care of himself. I just think he won't. Or *doesn't,* anyway. I don't know if that's some kind of low self-esteem issue (*he's* not important enough merit attention), or vanity (he doesn't need any help! he sees just fine!), or just that Ray is totally ADHD and lacks those higher judgement functions that help you focus on practicalities (a man who gets distracted in the middle of chasing terrorists by the state of his male-pattern baldness is either totally narcissistic or in need of an Aderol the size of a pudding pop, and I don't think Ray is a narcissist). I like to bundle up all three and watch him flip out *g* Anyway, what he really needs is someone with his feet on the ground, and I think both Fraser and Vecchio could be grounding influences for him, in different ways. It's why I can never pick an OTP. *g*
