Seriously, I'm glad that everyone came off sympathetic because the Rays didn't so much in the first couple of drafts. (Actually, the first draft was from Vecchio's POV and was much harder. And then it got a little better when I changed the POV, and better still after brooklinegirl's beta, and then china_shop helped me pull out the K/V relationship more and that cinched it, I think.)
The getfraserlaid story is a happier story (although I emailed china_shop about it earlier and she called me mean. I need a mean girl icon. Or a FLUFFY BUNNY OF LOVE icon. Or maybe I should just put "FLUFFY BUNNY OF LOVE" on this icon and call it quits. ::g::)
