And I've always liked Stella. A smart, beautiful, tough woman who knows her own mind. Who's brave enough to end the most comfortable and comforting relationship in her life because it's not working anymore.

We usually only see Ray's side of the story and as we all know, he is not the world's most reliable narrator. I know he wasn't the perfect husband, though he tried hard. But I've never thought of Stella as the "bad" partner in their marriage...I think she's an interesting character that is rarely explored.
