I read this and gave it my highest scoring during the match challenge, but was not good about commenting during that time. I want to tell you how very much I love the way this story respects all three men, and how accurately it shows the transactions of terminal illness at a young age. Last year I lost two cousins and a childhood friend, all in their mid fifties, two from cancer and one from scleroderma and complications of diabetes, and the compromises they had to make to live until they died shine through in vivid and solid reality Fraser's lines here.

I hope that just means you are a great writer and not that you've had occassion to learn the hard way.
