Hee, you made me giggle so much with this conversation. All the word choices were very specific to invoke the not-our-universeness (i.e. steampunk) of RayK. So, not so much an interest in 17th century furniture, as just knowing it was an old-fashioned word for a couch.

Higgledy-piggledy is an AWESOME expression. You should use it more. :)
