Yo, it's not like I wrote a novella or anything -- it's just 900 words. On a roll, I can draft 900 words in an hour. (When I'm distracted or not really into what I'm doing, 900 words can take a week, but that's rarely true for fanfiction.)

Something about the flashfiction genre in general, and this lj community in particular, feels very low-stress to me. I suspect that helps open my creative channels, or what-have-you.

Also -- sometimes I find that if I just put Fraser and Ray on a couch together, they'll start necking. It barely even takes work. *g*
