This is just so beautiful. The atmosphere is stunning, and the counterpoint of occasional humour is perfect. (One fish, two fish!! PERFECT!)

I, like others, just love
the more layers of cloth and fur and warm they bundled up in, the more got stripped away.
And the fact that they now communicate completely, and Fraser is no longer an impenetrable mystery. No more Mountie mask. And he doesn't mind.

and instead of kissing Fraser he said in a rush, more soft and intense than he'd maybe said anything ever, "Let me stay."
Oh, my heart.
