A vecchio Drabble

I had a really tough time with this week's theme. But here's a little Vecchio angst.

Armando likes the showgirls, with their bright smiles that had made some orthodontist rich and their cleavage that had done the same for some plastic surgeon. Armando likes the fawning attention, the way they'll do anything to please him. They blow him or he fucks them; it's fine, he plays his part well.

What he looks forward to more, though, is after the girls leave,
when he lies on the big bed in the penthouse and imagines it a small bed in a run down apartment. He wraps his hand around his erection, and whispers "Benny, Benny" as he comes.

::whimper::

Makes me almost sorry for Ray.

Almost. ('Cause he's having *way* too much fun as Armando. (Which, for some odd reason, I keep reading as Armadillo.))

Glad Vecchio's getting some action today. You got a nice bit of poignancy in there among the sex acts -- good job!

I like the contrast between the two paragraphs and the lonely imagery of the second paragraph. Poor Ray. *sniffle*

I miss Fraser's run down apartment with the little bed.

Oooh, I really liked this too! It's nice to see Vecchio with the desperate longing--and his distance from Chicago (and need to be "living it up" undercover) only exacerabate that. Really nice drabble!

Awwwwww. Who said "poignant?" Good word. Nice job.

Aww.

I like the way you describe him as Armando -- it shows just how far away he's gotten from himself. And it's very sad to imagine having to hide everything about oneself.

Even considering all the buttermilk.

*G* You rock.
