ADMIN: Apology challenge

mergatrude suggested an Apology challenge. What does it take to make one of the characters say (or show) that they're sorry? How do they do it, and when they do, is their apology accepted?

It's May 8 -- stories are due by midnight, May 22, Chicago time.

How about an "underappreciated" challenge? Tags for an episode that never seems to get them, fic for a 'ship that rarely appears, stories about the individuals in the show who aren't given enough attention for what they do (like the vending machine guy, whose name I can't even remember, or Mort!), or times when one of our heroes felt underappreciated.
