How happy am I?

Very happy. Kellie wrote a drabble for this challenge and she's letting me post it. :)

100 words.

Wrong
c. 2003 Kellie Matthews.

His hands were all wrong: fingers too short, palm too broad. But they were all he had. It was hard though, to imagine they were . . . other. Hard to imagine the hand stroking up his shaft, sliding the foreskin over the head and back was one with long fingers, narrow palms, recurved thumbs. To imagine the rough catch of bitten nails and ragged cuticles.

It helped to close his eyes, arch his hips upward, speed the strokes, and see in his mind's eye a quirky grin and brilliant eyes, imagine how that stubble would feel against him.

Oh God.

So right.

oh, jeez, that's good. damn good, in fact.

and nothing personal, ardent, but i wish you hadn't been the inspiration. :::sigh::: i just like my angst to end happily.

Funny, I didn't think it was all that angsty-- and ended on an 'up' note with the 'so right.' line. It's always interesting to see how other people 'read' a story. No matter what the authorial intention, personal POV always plays a huge role. Thanks for the comment!

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Fraser has an excellent imagination.

I always figured he had to, since he was probably his own primary playmate growing up. :-)

"his own primary playmate"

Heh. Love that. What a great metaphor for all sorts of solo activities.

Leave it to Ardent to inspire you to smut. Not that you *need* anyone to inspire you. :-)

Smut. It's good for what ails you. ;-D

This is a really great snapshot, and the line, "But they were all he had." gave this tiny story a sudden, deep sad resonance. Thanks so much for sharing!

Thank you! Again, it's interesting how differently others interpret one's work, seeing things that I didn't even know where there when I wrote it. :)
