Yeah, I finally decided to go with it, because in context it's said lightly, to indicate the understanding reached between them, that it's a joke and at the same time not. So glad it worked for you, too.
And yeah... it feels right that Fraser knows Elvish. He's enough of a language wonk to find that aspect of Middle Earth irresistable. :-)
