Is there a limit to the number of posts per person per challenge? Another 3am visit from the RM.

408 words )
[identity profile] cesperanza.livejournal.com
Um, all right, so I'm kind of over the word limit. By like, um. Fifty percent. I suck. I suck and I'm a hypocrite and a bad list Admin.

If there's a--you know, coup--I'll totally understand.

I've been enjoying reading all the different responses to the various challenges posted in this community. It was never my intention to actually post anything here, but (there's always a but) this idea wouldn't leave me alone. So there you go.

It's 144 words (a dodecal).

A word of warning: it's a death fic (major character). I apologize for that right now. I have no idea what prompted me to write this.

FURTHER SOUTH )

*clears throat* Yeah, I'm new. Long time reader, first time dS writer, and it shows. It's also RayK/Stella, which comes as no bigger suprise than to me.

Yeah, okay. Let's do this thing.

I finally have something to post. Yay! Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] shayheyred for giving me permission to expound on a concept in one of her entries. Read more... )

I'm pretty sure this must have been done already by someone, but not by me, so I'm giving it a shot. I'm using the 'make up a story' interpretation of the challenge...

Teen Ray, angst and the art of dressing for what you want.

Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] bethbethbeth and [livejournal.com profile] mboyd for the constant encouragement, hand-holding and kind words.

Also thanks to Mary for the title.

I've wanted to write a story for the flashfiction list for a few weeks now, but wouldn't you know that real life didn't exactly give me much free time. But then, last night, when I should've been asleep, I wrote this. Thank you to Linda for the title. 405 words.

Finally giving back to the fandom that keeps on giving, I present a story of make-up, made-up, and making-up.

I was moved by the excellent Frannie piece by [livejournal.com profile] butterfly, the lovely "Now and Then" two posts before this one. So moved, I wrote a response. Which does have a make-up and making-things-up connection, however slight. It made me think of Fraser and this is what came out of it.

There's make-up and there's a certain amount of making things up. 132 words.

Okay, so it's a little bit over -- 1117 words, but if you squint really hard and round down really severely, it's very nearly under the limit, right? (Also, I understand that the sales tax is 15% in Nova Scotia.)

I blame some of this on [livejournal.com profile] shrift, who has been tormenting me with her evil, enticing, evil, evil, evil (and did I mention enticing?) painted Ray icons. The rest I blame on one of my favorite Australian movies, which seems to have come unstuck in time and place, and gone through a bit of a change of cast and location as well. There's probably a whole movie's worth of plot out there somewhere, you'll just have to make do with the section presented here....

No cosmetics this time. Just smut. 305 words worth of V/K smut.
