Sometimes I imagine Ray having to speak to a group of people, much like Vecchio and Fraser do in an early season episode, you know, speaking about safety or such, and I wonder how he would do. I now think he'd sound very much like this -- colloquial, relatively comfortable, wise in a been-there, done-that way. And I agree with chesamus that this sounds very much like a conversation he might have with Welsh over a beer after a long case was concluded.
