ADMIN: Vital Clue challenge

china_shopAnnouncing the Vital Clue challenge, in which one of our beloved characters gets one (a clue, that is). It could be the missing piece of evidence that solves the case, or it could be the spark in Fraser's eye that makes Ray (or Ray or Turnbull or Frannie or Welsh) finally twig that they've got a chance. It could be the dusting of icing sugar on Dief's muzzle or Frannie's missing earring, Victoria's smoking gun, Turnbull's sly grin or Thatcher's good mood. Whatever it is, this is the time to put it in a story.
It's February 11 -- stories are due by midnight, February 25, Chicago time.
