A little longer than a drabble... about a drabble and a half. This is dedicated to byob_kenobi because she's the #1 Bob fan and has had a tough time recently. I hope this cheers her up!



"Where have you been, Robert?"

"Well, Benton needed guidance, dear."

"Oh fiddlesticks, Benton's just fine. He's such a good boy."

"I think he missed me when I was gone..."

"Are you saying he didn't miss me?"

"Well, no, of course not."

"Good."

"I just hope one of those Yanks looks after him. He needs someone to keep an eye on him now that I won't be around."

"I don't think we'll have to worry about that, Robert, dear."

"And what does that tone mean?"

"Don't be silly. It's so obvious. I think that Ray is a fine young man. We should be proud."

"Which one?"

"The blond one. I think he'll make Benton very happy."

"You don't mean... but... he wouldn't! He's a Fraser! I'll just have to go back and put a stop to this."

"Robert Fraser! Don't you dare deny my boy his chance at happiness!"

"But, dear..."

"Get on the dog sled this instant!"

"But..."

"Now, Robert!"

"Yes, dear."

"And don't think you'll be sleeping with the dogs for eternity either!"

".... Yes, dear."
