Who wants to outline an essay question when they could scribble flashfic instead?
"Ray, Fraser said with a smile, "the day I move in with you is not the day you should attempt to defend your heterosexuality to me."
Ray shut his mouth, and opened the hand he'd closed over the eye pencil. Fraser's smile had turned to a smirk by the time he said, "I wasn't." It sounded like a lie even to him. "I just wasn't sure this was the day to confess that the only thing I remember about 1978 is six different ways I liked to do my eyeliner."

He reached into the box he'd been unpacking, and pulled out a complete kit of makeup, bagged like evidence and looking like everything in it had been used maybe twice. Grabbed his own eyeliner--musn't share, might spread germs--and said, "Show me?"
