honestly, how could I ever do anything permanently bad to these guys? They deserve all the happiness we can provide, bless their little beating hearts.
See, now, I am so in agreement with you over here that I'm making like one of those annoying bird things that dips its head repeatedly into water. (Which I hope you've seen one, because if not you're probably backing slowly away from this comment right about now, and I can't blame you, really.) But - and I'm sure you've noticed this - it appears that many of our fellow dS enthusiasts and writers don't feel the same way, and in fact get a big kick out of amplifying any misery they can possibly find for RayK and Fraser to get mired in. This often makes for great writing and storytelling, but it sort of shreds the heart in the process, and I'm not so much in the heart-shredding mood these days.
