I have this theory that the RayK in this universe is damn near a direct replica of his father. Which is interesting, given how much of Fraser and Vecchio's personalities revolve around resisting their fathers' influence, even though they don't openly confront their fathers in life. Kowalski *does* have this long period of conflict with his dad, but then when it blows over at last, he seems not to bear the grudge that Fraser and Vecchio do against their fathers. It's all very interesting, and I tackled it rather badly once before, but I should really do it again, more and better.
