I decided to spare Ray, at least for the moment, which why I specified that The Stella was part of “a table of women who’d been seated while I was changing” (i.e. during the intermission after Ray’s turn and before Fraser’s). He’s probably going to have to approach her to make sure she doesn’t blow Fraser’s cover, which will be awkward enough.

At one point I considered having Frannie turn up as a member of a bachelorette party, but I was afraid someone might get hurt when she rushed the stage.
