Title: Behind the Wall
Pairing: Fraser/Vecchio
Comments: Hello, this is my very first dS fanfiction. I apologize for any atrocious grammar, but i have no beta reader. It took me a while to figure out how Fraser becomes mute. (ahaha) Feel free to give me your honest opinion.

Vecchio stared at the stack of paperwork on his desk. His pen hovered over the page in front of him. In the back of his mind he was certain that this was simple busy work, but he couldn't get himself to concentrate. Fraser was leaning against the wall in front of him orating some piece of information that was probably only interesting to other mounties. The mountie had been going on for some time already and the detective could only take so much.

Vecchio finally raised his eyes from his paperwork. "Benny, please, I'm working on something here. I've been staring at this same question for thirty minutes and I'm no closer to solving it with you going on about things that no one cares about!"

"Oh, I'm sorry, Ray." Fraser looked apologetic and walked to where Vecchio sat. "Perhaps I could assist you." The mountie looked over the blue polyester shoulder and at the question. "'Name'... Ray?"

"Fraser! Go stand over there and amuse yourself with the sights, sounds and smells of that corner!" Vecchio huffed in exasperation. "I need to get this done before I can even think about leaving, so do you mind?"

"No, of course I don't mind, Ray. I'm sorry for disturbing you."

It was quiet in the room again. There was still the normal hum of activity out in the hall, but this room was silent. The detective sighed and continued to stare at the question, his mind completely distracted with another thought. Fraser stood by the file cabinets watching his friend stare at the paper. "Perhaps it would be more efficient if I did assist you. I recall a time when..."

Vecchio stood up calmly, dropping his pen on top of the stack of papers. He made sure there was no one in the room before he walked straight to the mountie. His hands pushed his surprised friend against the wall and his mouth found Fraser's. His tongue and his lips traveled down the side of Fraser's neck until he heard a moan.

"Benny," Vecchio whispered softly. "How many people are in the other room?"

Surprised and uncertain Fraser closed his eyes and counted. "Six... no, seven. One returned to retrieve his-."

"Quiet, Benny."

Fraser stopped talking.

"Do you want them to hear you moaning in the other room?"

"No, Ray."

Vecchio wrapped his warm hand around Fraser's neck pulling him even closer. "Do you think you could be quiet long enough for me to finish my paperwork?" He could feel Fraser nod. "Thanks, Benny." He pulled away and patted the mountie on the shoulder as though nothing intimate had just happened.

Vecchio smiled to himself as he sat back down to his paperwork. The stack seemed endless, but the look of nervous excitement over his friend's face made it all worthwhile.
