Thank you -- this is marvelous feedback. I was trying to do something very minimal and yet I hoped that the "off-stage" action would be clear enough, show through enough. You should have heard china_shop and I trying to plot the timeline -- "So, exactly how much does Fraser know at this point...?"
And of course, I was hoping that growing connection between Ray and Ray was evident as well.
The thing with stories like this is that -- well, there is no happy place. The breakup of a relationship is never good, even if you're finding something good at the same time. You just have to trust that in the long run, you're all better off, despite the pain.
