This adds a really amusing sense of irony for Zuko and Vecchio's relationship. I really liked that aspect of this story the best, because adding complexity to their backstories makes makes me quite happy! And then the final line of Being with Benny felt wonderful and perfect and right and if that was odd and strange to others, then Ray felt sorry for all those people who called themselves normal. made my heart melt. Into butter. Well done hun!
