Love the play on words, the misunderstanding--so them! And Fraser lying because he knows Ray will figure it out, and why ruin it? Yeah.

My favorite line is the toga line, because I LOVE it when Ray's that clever. He recognizes Latin; knows that togas are Roman (not Greek). Go, Ray!

Sweet, sweet ending (like a date for dessert)! The kiss! The kiss! In a shadowy recess--an alcove! The perfect place.

Oh, this also was priceless:

This was ... brilliant. The voice was so perfectly them, and the wordplay was exactly the sort of thing you'd expect to see on the show (except with a much slashier result). I can't really elucidate ny further than that the way this story utterly delighted me. It was absolutely perfectly crafted, and I adore it.

Fraser's breath caught, and he closed his eyes, folding his arms on the table in an effort to keep his hands to himself. The air between them hummed. It was a moment before Fraser could trust himself to open his eyes again.

"Jesus," breathed Ray, half-laughing.

This? This description is the sexiest thing I have read in a long time. I can see it perfectly, feel the sexual tension. It gives me chills.

That's so perfect! It's everything - scratchy and small and multitudinous and luminous and hard and immediate and beautiful and it's Ray's stubble, whoof.

Oh, and, well you know I read this before, obviously, but I like where you went with it. The 'hungrily' fits in with food surprisingly well, too. :D
