I love all of these, I really do, but because I'm a Photoshop dork what makes me specially happy is the composition of no.3-- the subtle little white border that lets the pineapple stick out just a tiny bit beyond the rest of the image. Generally a border-- by definition-- concentrates the viewer's attention inward to the middle of the image, but you used it here to create a sense of outward movement, which makes it that much awesomer.

Done overthinking now. Please ignore my weirdness.

actually, this was a all due to a typo. i somehow wrote pineapples and saved the icon and then i sat there and thought 'geez, the word pineapples doesn't exist, you moron!' and i had to think of a way to change it. and then the pineapple pic came to mind and i added it and it made the icon so much better, for all the reasons you mentioned.

well, sometime one needs to be a moron first to improve oneself later. ::grins::

OMG, I'm so embarrassed! I have been able to only intermittantly check LJ, and somehow I missed that you had posted these. So, so sorry about the long silence on your lovely work.

Because I really do love each and every one of them -- and the one of Ray drinking the coffee in a tank was EXACTLY what I wanted *wg* Good choice to do anything food related -- I was a little worried that prompt would be too... narrow? obscure? Something. But you rose to the occasion marvelously.

Thank you so very much. After an agonizing choice, I'm going to horde the 2nd (force feed) and 5th (coffe and green tank) for me own.
