This was fabulous! I loved all the transitions Ray goes through in this story - not only from retired cop to high-score golfer, amateur fisherman, real estate mogual to resturanteur, but also from the Ray Vecchio we knew and loved from S1/S2, the guy impressed by the trappings of priveledge and the guy feeling hemmed-in by his responsibilities, to a guy who just misses his family, loves his wife, and wants to do something more meaningful than purchase a yacht. Beautifully done. I think this might be my new favorite Ray Vecchio fic, and it's certainly a standout post-CotW piece.
