I was reminded of this fic by ds-ficfinders linking to it, and I don't think I ever fedback, don't feedback enough.
Just wanted to say that this story tore me to bits emotionally, and Mamet bloody well is Kowalski for me since reading it. (I usually watch CKR films yearning for more backstory on his guys but Mamet's .. I dunno, freefloatingnesss.. works to the good when it allows you to retcon him into dS.)
