My comment was meant as very high praise, not disrespect in any way. Of course it is only opinion, as are all story comments.
But to clarify: I said right there that F/V and F/K can both be substantiated by canon events. I was not referring to how we read canon, but to how an author gets an audience to suspend disbelief. I think the same suspension of disbelief needs to be handled in F/K--and yeah, I know that's a minority opinion. :)
