mergatrude proposed a superpower challenge, which made me go YAY, YES! She said:

Imagine a random character suddenly acquiring a superpower: Dewey can suddenly shoot webs out of his wrists, or Thatcher can read minds.

Welsh with super strength? Frannie with telekinesis? Diefenbaker able to walk through walls? Or if you want to take the (slightly) less cracky route, you could focus on some of Fraser's canonical mad skillz. ;-)

I have an idea for this one, but no idea how to approach it, so I'm gonna throw it out there in case someone else has better luck.

In the first episode we meet Ray Kowalski, Ray and Fraser go to interrogate the arsonist in the asylum, and Ray uses a lighter and some psychology to warp the guy's mind and make him believe he really is Ray Vecchio, the man who put him in jail. What if there was more to it than that, and Ray has always possessed powerful telepathy?

Oooh, that could get REALLY INTERESTING; would Ray's telepathy work on Fraser too? To the point where Fraser was actually, legitimately confused as to whether or not this is the Ray with whom he has an intense personal history?

This isn't something I have time to write, so I'll just toss this in there as well. But now I really hope somebody does write this, because I'd love to read it.

Ooh. Okay, question -- I've had a plotbunny sitting around doing nothing for close to a year or so now, and it would fit this perfectly. Only thing is, it's a crossover. Would that still be okay?

Crossovers are fine so long as the fic is primarily Due South fic. :-)
