HEE! That is terrific. So glad Fraser will eventually seize the diem. The characterizations are pitch-perfect. That casual "Hi, Ray" from Fraser cracked me up. Of course, it was far from the only thing.

(By the way, you have one "through" that should be "threw"--near the bit about the stairs.)
