These were great little snapshots, lots of well-thought-out reactions that I think rang very true. And you took a risk that RayV didn't quite know how to handle the revelation at first, but that could be one reality - just as RayK's parents might not have reacted favorably either. Thankfully though you skirted any serious angst (and I can't believe I just said that *g*) and so it had a lovely lighthearted (not in a non-serious/fluff way, but more along the lines of happy-making) tone and an ending that was just right. :)
