Oh, wow. *sigh* If there is one thing that I love about this story it is that there is so much love in this story. It's everywhere, seeping into everything, and it's gorgeous.
There are so many places where it's exceptional, so I'm just going to point to a few. The Victoria section is wonderful. I felt sick to my stomach and, more so than in the episode, I felt the extent of Fraser's longing, in spite of the wrongness. I adored misfit!Ray and the way that, despite the pairing, you treated Ray and Fraser's friendship with such sensitivity and dignity. It was funny and bittersweet and wonderfully quirky. They really are just two different sorts of relationships on the show, no matter who you choose to pair. I think you depicted that so well.
In the end, I think I'm very pleased with Ray and Fraser falling into this gentle sort of love, in which Fraser sees everything but doesn't judge.
And, uh, yeah. This was femmeslash. It was so organic that, oddly, I'm afraid I don't have much to say about that. :)
