*sigh* Yeah, it was angsty, but it was good angst. See, this is the way I ultimately see the Ray relationships going. Fraser starts out with Ray Vecchio, they have something going and they both think it's *the* thing until Fraser's vacation and the FBI happen. Then Ray Kowalski shows up and he's what Fraser needs - the heat, the impulsiveness, the willingness to go and to do whatever needs to be done for the sake of justice. Vecchio had to leave to find that in himself and he could never do it in Fraser's shadow.
So yeah, this may have been angsty, but it was very satisfying. And I'm sure Vecchio will find himself a good man eventually. Maybe he'll go to California and find himself an older former lawyer that looks alot like Benny. *g*
