Fantastic. I never caught the parallels before, but you've laid them out so brilliantly here - Windhover and Northwest Passage and the frozen north. I love Fraser finally getting his happy ending. This is how it should have gone, with the storm and the lean-to and the church steeple, and I'm so glad for them to have gotten it right this time.
