This was beyond beautiful. I've read and re-read it, and know that I will come back to it again and again. And while I love so much, here are a few stand out bits for me:
Fraser looked up then, his mouth maybe an inch from Ray's, and Ray knew this was the part where they kissed and made everything complicated for the rest of ever.
Because love *is* complicated, and of course Ray would know that, and he wants it anyway, easy or hard, simple or complex, and all of the above.
"I --" Fraser said, and ran his thumb along the line of Ray's jaw. He breathed out slowly. "You won't ask me to let you go?"
Tht just broke my heart a tiny bit, because it's the whole Victoria but not scenario, and I just want to hold Fraser and comfort him for it.
