The Pornography Challenge.

This was one of a bunch suggested by cmshaw, a woman of simple good taste who gives us the following, easy to understand, direction: "The characters must be having sex for the entire duration of the story."

Make it so!

Edited to add, because I'm tired, dammit: It's Wednesday night--stories are due before next Wednesday at midnight!!

I have a challenge to suggest. Computer problems, could be a virus or anything, but how whatever character or characters you choose to write deal with it. Or get mad and not deal with it.

Hmm. My only objection is that neither Fraser nor either of the two Rays uses a computer much on the show. And if something did go wrong with what computers they use, it really wouldn't be their problem to deal with it. And neither own their own computers, as far as I know--anyone else know different?

Ok, they didn't then, I grant you, but they could have, probably should have, IMO computers now either at work or home. Doesn't necessary have to be either of the Rays or Fraser either. I was trying to keep it loose. ::shrug::

The boyz and computers

I thought there were lots of references in the show for the boyz on the computers. Part of Fraser solving the crime in Hawk and a Handsaw was thinking the computer password sounded like I've Been Working on the Railroad. And in Hunting Season and Burning Down the House, they were standing around the computer watching Frannie work. I don't remember what episode Fraser was looking up stuff from an official Canadian website and Ray wasn't allowed to look over his shoulder (the out takes were pretty funny ). And Fraser can type 100 words/minute (he says). Oh, and I remember commenting to friends that the 2-7 had the fastest printers in the universe. And Mountie on the Bounty.

I think computer viruses would effect them in their work life. Not sure about their personal lives. But, that's what fanfic's all about! Making them do what we want to the benefit of everyone who's needin' a due South fix.

Okay, back to lurking and enjoying.

And -- not that I don't realize this is completely too late but -- can I just say how I admire this community? I've never had the courage to come up to each of the writers to say so, partly since I wasn't in LJ and also because I never feel like I have the right words to describe my feeling, but I do. You guys. Are. Just. Wonderful.
