ds_flashfictionThis is my first DS fanfic, and it's just a little thing that wouldn't get out of my head. It started out as one thing, then developed a life of its own. I hope you like it.

He looks so innocent, lying there with the light from the street flickering across his chest. It’s as if he hasn’t got a care in the world. The world’s a million miles away. It’s just us. The sex is incredible. He’s just as thoughtful about that, that Boy Scout thing isn’t an act. I make sure he’s satisfied too, oh yeah, he’s satisfied. I can tell by the smile lingering at the corners of his beautiful mouth.
I can see it in his face too, especially now, when he’s sleeping. He loves me, he needs me, and I’ll do whatever I have to to make sure nothing comes between us.
Reluctantly I get out of bed, leaving the warmth of his body. Dief lifts his head briefly to look at me, then goes back to sleep. Slipping on his shirt as I walk into the kitchen I start to clean up.
Yes, nothing and no one will ever come between us again. I know that’s what he wants too, he just doesn’t know how to make it happen.
But I do.
