Exuent the Shakespeare challenge, pursued by a bear. The 9 challenge results are here, and the rest is silence.

New challenge coming right up.

Okay, this is one of the very first challenge requests we got, but I deliberately held it back until this time of year, when many of us are beginning to plan for big holiday meals. It's from Halimede, who writes:

Way back in the mists of time, someone informed a DS mailing list that in researching a fic, she had found lots of lovely recipes for pasta putanesca, and she'd happily send them to anyone who asked. I asked, and also asked if I could read the story (it was a no-fic type list). She said, 'uhm, yes, if you're okay with slash'. That story was the first slash story I ever read. This gave me the idea for a recipe/food challenge.

Okay, so here's the challenge: write a story that in some way involves cooking, preparing, or eating food, and append the recipe for said dish at the end of the story. Iron chefs, start your engines!

It's Wednesday by my watch; stories are due next Wednesday at midnight.
