This one was, as I recall, batted around by assorted the assorted DS fans who came to NYC for the Gay Pride Parade last year, and just recently re-suggested by
pearl_o, who framed it very nicely as follows:
Edited to add the timeframe--ha!--like that matters! It's Tuesday by my watch, which you know, runs funny. Still, I'll probably close the challenge after next Tuesday at midnight. *g*

Maybe a Foreign Language Challenge: at least one sentence in the story in a language other than English? Canada has two official languages, Fraser speaks a half-dozen or so himself -- there's Italian at the Vecchios', there's Inuit stories, there's foreign criminals galore, there's quotations and restaurant menus and travel and attempts at romance in any tongue you could want.(--or with many tongues, I suppose; hey, you want to interpret the challenge that way? Like I'm gonna stop you...)
