Many of the comments I got on the original story were *quite* amusing, and much mention was made of Alan Rickman's Metatron character in Dogma.

Then [livejournal.com profile] imkalena said:

I thought I heard a bell ringing somewhere!!! :)

*Ring*

*Ring*

*Ring*

Metatron watched as three forms emerged from the mist below, two of them bickering as they walked while the third capered playfully around their legs.

"Oh, no, we've got plenty of time," the blond one mocked.

The dark-haired one stopped.

His partner continued onward a few yards, muttering and gesturing in the air. Once he realized he was alone, though, he turned and trotted back to his friend.

"What's up, Fraser?" he asked, placing a hand on the man's shoulder.

"Ray -- look around. We have got plenty of time, finally." And with that, he yanked his partner to him by the front of his hideous brown shirt and kissed him like there was no tomorrow. (Which, actually, for them there wasn't.)

Horrified, Metatron asked, "Are you *sure* these are the right ones for the new jobs?" and answered himself in his Lord's voice, "YES."

He glanced back down at the two new recruits, who were already half-undressed and apparently trying to climb inside one another tongue first.

"Why don't I give them a few moments to ... adjust to the transition?" he asked.

His Lord's voice chuckled, and said, "SEE THAT YOU DO."

(Hopefully I'll have something to add before the challenge is up!)

Miraculous conceptions! There should be hay and three kings or something.

(aside: you are hilarious, girl. Very good with the funny)
