As we end one challenge and enter another, please consider archiving your fiction somewhere else other than here. As archivist, I hereby pimp the DSA to you (aka the Due South Fiction Archive, or Exwood), though there are other options, too.

Consider the advantages of archiving! Your porn can be out there and not traceable to you! Your porn can be easily available to future newbies who have not yet heard of the wonders of Due South! People who like one story by you can more easily find others by you just by searching your psuedonym! There's no annoying weird memory function! Yes, these are just a few of the handy-dandy features of a centralized archive!

So think about it! (and at the very least, don't let great work langish in the depths of the crapola LJ memories function, ok??)

Dude, whatever happened to the Fuck or Die Fest you were talking about last year?

(I keep making the typo of "Fuck and Die" when I try to type that, which really, much less fun.)

Well, "Fuck or Die" was going to be something like the elves or the shack thing, except I seem to have turned my--hm, talent? curse?--of inspiring short fiction into the flashfiction communities.

But we could have a fuck or die challenge on ds_flashfiction if you like!

I think that would be neat!

Also, I was thinking of some sort of recurring character or guest star challenge -- where you have to have in your story one of the characters who was only there for one episode, or a couple of them. Victoria's the most obvious one, but any of the bad guys, any of the victims, the random female love interests, etc, etc.
