ADMIN POST: The Forgiveness Challenge

This one comes from kindkit, "a forgiveness challenge. Wanting forgiveness, asking for it, offering it, getting it (or not)." Kindkit adds that what got her thinking about the topic was, "the exchange in Dr. Longball between Welsh and Fraser, when Welsh asks what Fraser would do if he wanted to forgive someone but couldn't. And Fraser says, "I'd keep trying."

Forgive somebody yourself. Today's July 21; stories are due by August 4th at midnight.

Challenge Idea: Mini Mash-Up

Inspired by reading the cut-and-paste article linked from your LJ, I propose the Mini Mash-Up Challenge: take one paragraph/small section from any ONE story that was posted for the challenge immediately preceding (i.e., the two week-period before)the Mini Mash-Up Challenge and make it part of a new story that goes somewhere completely different.

You could also pre-select the segments you wanted people to use (6 or 8 from the various stories) and say, "Pick one of the following and write a story around it that goes somewhere very different from where the original story went."

For great results, pick the most outrageous sections from stories written for a really off-the-wall challenge.
