“Power’s out.”

“I see that, Ray. Or rather, I don’t-“

“Frase?”

“Yeah?”

“Don’t do that now.”

“Of course, Ray.”

“C’mon, we gotta get outta here.”

“Why, Ray?”

“To survey the damage. If the power’s out all over, we gotta get to the station.”

“Whatever for?”

“Get ready for the lootin’.”

“Surely the people of Chicago wouldn’t-“

“Frase?”

“Yes, Ray?”

“It’s Chicago.”

“Ah. Understood…Ray?”

“Yeah?”

“Aren’t there other things the people of Chicago would rather do in the dark than rob businesses?”

“Like what—oh-h. Frase, we gotta-“

“There must be a few minutes to spare.”

“I guess we could…”

Hee! I would have thought it'd be Fraser raring to go, and Ray tempting him to take advantage of the dark. Sneaky Fraser. :g:

Ah, yes. This was a funny and adequate and slashy finish for the power challenge. ^^

Jep, Ray gets it from the start. No power, no security systems.
And Fraser is right also; if the chicagoans would just use the blackout to screw and don't rob shops, well, the fine police officers of the 27.th would have a lot more time for the enjoyable things in live, huh? ;)
