Oh, I *hate* it when Ukranians poison my boyfriend and make him gay!

Oh man, I missed the HP summaries the first time around.

Harry is nearly dead, and his fathers have yet to reach him

I'm picturing this one as chapter after chapter of Harry being beaten as his fathers slowly make their way to him, stopping at tourist sites, shopping, catching a quiddich game or two . . .

and will Caroline be able to discover the cure to cancer in time to save her life. OH. MY. GOD. That was brilliant and painful. So very much so. Poor Caroline, her life is so hard, what with her dad having smallpox, and the father of her baby being gay.

I shouldn't laugh because I have a friend who has a website that looks very like that.

I shouldn't, but I'm going to anyway. Bwah ha ha ha! And the summaries are great. I need to go back and read the HP ones; I missed them first time around :)

Yeah, my first one was Geocities. Royal blue background, pink text. Pages made in Word. *shame*

I'm yet to feed mine to the web. I am sure I can rely on you for mockingness once I find somewhere safe and cheap to put it.

Pages made with photoshop and slices and weird tabular things. This is a sign of my brother's involvement more than anything.

I'm now a qualified web designer, and I cringe when I visit my first site (it's still on-line, and half the Andromeda fandom would scream at me if I took it down), but it would be a month's worth of work to update it. One of these days I'm going to convert it to an automated archive and get everyone to upload their stories again, but until then... ugly ugly layout.

May I compliment you on the sheer and utter eyecurdling horror of that?

That would have been a total bitch to do. *nodsnodsnods*

The only way I would be able to do it would involve photoshop, much manipulating and then slicing it up and feeding it into a table and... by then I'd be dead.

Wow--painfully appalling. Good job! I thought the Pepto-Bismol pink was an especially appropriate touch. How lovely that Mary Sue Carolina Roberta discovered the cure for cancer just in time. Smallpox is next, I'm sure. And, you know, the Queen's honoring her is such a realistic touch. :)

...ever time I look at your icon, I go :yeah, ray does give good hea--- wait, PHONE?
and then I get confused.

Yes, exactly. That's the joke. Probably an 80s joke, so now my age is showing. Me, Ray: same age. Abba, legwarmers, big hair, enormous geometric costume-jewelry earrings, eyeshadow that covered half your upper face? The A-Team, Battlestar Galactica (the bad one)--I remember them well. :)

a, yes, the cure for smallpox. I think she would be sorted into, um, sparklypoo? or something like that. If she went to Hogwarts.... *snickers*

I only saw the first movie, so I don't know what Sparklypoo is--a new house at Hogwarts? The one for the Valley-Girl (& -Boy) wizards?--but from the sound of it, she'd fit right in. Excellent badfic, so to speak. :)

Sparklypoo is actually a fandom-made House, mostly from a comic (I'll drag up the link later) which made fun of the fact that so many Mary Sues came to Hogwarts, so they had to make a new House to house them in.

Hee! Makes perfect sense. Saves the trouble of having to kill the Mary Sues, too, I'm sure.

P.S. I also remember who shot J.R.

It's sad, really.

Oh, that's just admirable. Especially how it's never explained how the Fraserwalskis managed to acquire a kid in the first place.

Oh, man:

How will David react to finding out his mother has cancer, and will Caroline be able to discover the cure to cancer in time to save her life.

OH NOES!!!!

This was *truly* classic. I applaud you (or I will, once my eyesight comes back).

Wow, you know, if you stare at the neon text on the black background long enough, it seems to float...

...zones...

*snaps out of it* That was perfect! I love RayK's increasingly more serious illnesses, Stella's cancer, Caroline's pregnancy, David's sudden attack of teh gay...

Great job!

That is the most time I have ever voluntarily spent on a site that ugly pink on black.

I particularly love that the questions of the previous chapter are all tidily answered in the summary of the following one. Very handy for remembering how far I had already read.

It's really a shame that the site has been abandoned for so long. I will probably never know whether Ray recovers from the mumps. *weeps*
