ADMIN: Gross Out challenge

Announcing the Gross Out challenge, as suggested by cesperanza -- and what could be more Due South? One or both Rays getting squeamish at Fraser licking things, grubs for dinner, rats in the sewer, bodies in Mort's morgue, weird and freaky cases, icky locations, uncouth behavior (maybe from the Duck boys?), Dief rolling in something rotten -- whatever takes your fancy. Gross out one (or more) of the characters, or gross out the reader! Get ready to make us recoil!

The challenge is open to humor, horror, and everything in between -- let the jack out of the box and go crazy! -- but if you're posting anything particularly disturbing, please include warnings (which you can cut-tag, if you like).

It's Feb 1, CST -- stories are due by midnight, Feb 15, CST.

It seems almost wrong to suggest it, but have you considered changing the community layout? The notebook page is kind of hard to read, even if it's very distinctive and helps me remember where I read the fic.

Me too, me too! I was actually just coming in here to ask for that. I love going and reading straight through an entire challenge, but I actually can't read that layout at all, and it's such a pain to have to reload the page with ?style=mine or ?format=light. Even just checking the box to make it default when you're viewing an individual entry would be huge.
