Okay. I don't really go for F/V as a pairing. And drag queens have always made me uncomfortable in the "I can't stand talent shows or Vegas because I get embarrassed easily" kind of way.

So why do I love Gloria SO MUCH!! Obviously you have secret powers. Or are just a wonderful writer with a very firm grasp of character development and can make me believe and love anything.

Ouch! Yeah, that's one big secret you wouldn't want to let out. Poor Vecchio, poor Gloria. Now you have me speculating on Vecchio's whole undercover with the mob deal. Did he have to give Gloria up? Or maybe the Feds got whiff of it, and he had to be Amanda Langoustini?

Oh GLORIA. ♥ There is really nothing about this 'verse that I dislike. I just love the whole thing to little shiney pieces! (As is evidenced by my decision to re-read the entire 'verse last night, and as a result am unable to intelligently feedback just the new story, because I can't recall exactly which one it is. *headdesk*) I just love it, and I love you for creating it. :o)

Whoa. I've not actually read any of the other parts of the "Gloriaverse" so this is quite the introduction! I'm all twisted up in tense knots, and feeling kind of woozy--just like Ray.

The writing here is really, really solid--I can see it all perfectly--like Fraser using his hat to guide Ray into the interview room, for instance. Perfect.

V. cool.

Oh, how much do I love you? So very, very much! This is brilliant, heart-racing, fraught and fierce and tender. &hearts I love all the conflicting loyalties here: Ray to Gloria and to Gloria's world; Ray's loyalty to Fraser; Fraser's to Ray, and to Gloria, which are different. The difference between what's right and what's law, and how complicated this whole secret business is. Their fierce devotion to each other. That Ray in the end can allow Fraser to be responsible for him and Gloria as well. LOVE!

Also, tiny niggle: If Alicia and Suzette are using illegal drugs, they have to accept the consequences.”
