Sort-of curtain-fic

He'd strung a sheet on a rope across the apartment, more for his own modesty than hers, he fears. The lamp silhouettes her perfectly as she removes the top of her ... outfit.
"Francesca," he says, and his voice is not quite steady. "Perhaps you should, er, turn out the light."
"But it'll be too dark to see," she exclaims, in a coy voice that lets him know that she knows what she's doing.
"Yes," he says. "Exactly."
"Oh," she says, and now her voice sounds flat.
Dief whines softly.
"I know," he replies, "but it's just not possible. I'm sorry."
